apple kills the pixel
We're thinking ... what performance paradox?
With the tech press announcing the death of the pixel, maybe it's time to think that size really does matter again? Ever since the advent of the PC we've always talked about resolution in terms of PIXELS. Those tiny you can see when you get close to your computer screen. But since the introduction of the Retina screens from apple this is being turned on it's head.
With the advent of the Retina screens you can no longer see the dots. Rather you just get gorgeous quality images/interfaces/colours ... etc ... So now what's important is real SIZE measurements. Were going back to the print principles - INCHES and DOTS-PER-INCH.
This isn't going to be an over night change, but it has started...
