Dell rethinks XP

after feedback site swamped with calls for the return on the old operating system — Consumers re question XP over Vista should come as no surprise, after all why replace something that's working. But if you did 'upgrade' why not use Open Source (Linux). What remains to be seen is what the demand actually is and how long it will last for. For more on Dells switch see: BBC, Pocket-lint.co.uk. It is also interesting how the Dell decided to start selling XP again came about. The press are reporting customer requests on the support forum as the reason for the switch (profit as the ultimate motivator - almost customer centric).
