Germany & France warn users about use of MS Internet Explorer

We're thinking ... save time

This is something new both the French and German governments are warning their citizens about the user of MS Internet Explore.  The warning was originally made by the  Federal Office for Information Security and came after  Microsoft admitted IE was the weak link in recent attacks on Google's systems.

Thomas Baumgaertnera spokesman for Microsoft in Germany countered the announcements by saying: "highly motivated people with a very specific agenda ... these were not attacks against general users or consumers ... there is no threat to the general user, consequently we do not support this warning," he added.
