We were recently invited to present at an Institute of Directors (IOD) event in Harrogate, the presentation is available for you to download. The topic of the talk was "Technology on the Rise" power point 1.9mb. The talk focused on those technologies that business should be aware of, for any of a number of reasons (eg. competitive advantage, missed opportunities, brand protection etc). Technologies identified included: blogging, web 2.0, CMS, Open Source. The main focus was blogging ... three key aims (1) positive aspects for business; (2) negative aspects; and (3) it's not just geek's eg. John Snow and Margot Wallström.
